Maytal & Rogerio's class
UX Design 12 april
>>
In class we learned and tried to think about user experiences.
User experience is about: How does a user go through your information? How will the human factor react to it? How will things act? And Interact? It is not about the colors or the design.

User experience is developed for:
- Non-linear experience. This is for example the cinema, radio, tv. You can’t interfere with it, it is not interactive.
- Interactive design, Think about package design, museums, escape room, apps and architecture.
We then made with the class a flowchart of how Maytal could make a sandwich. This was quite hard. How do you write everything down, how do you turn things into a yes and no question?

This is what I learned what a flowchart is: A flowchart visualizes the path the user takes. Every question/path must be answered with a yes and no.
After the collectively class assignment we split up in groups of 3. I was together with Kristiana and Kim. We together made a flowchart with as starting point “I want some fruit”. We had some difficulties of not overthinking the actions. And we eventually had so simplify it a bit. Because of the time limit we could not think everything out. So we only chose to visualize the choices we thought of.

Some tips if we are going to make flowcharts for our interface:

- Know your flow
- Care about the user
- Ask questions
- Don’t make assumptions
- Realize there are more paths
- Think about situations and options
Oops! When the prototyping weeks started I lost track of what publication station lessons are and what not.

Kimmy's lesson on typography and hierarchy you can find at the page designing and prototyping the interface.
